The Role
We're looking for a reliable, professional Class A CDL Driver to support pickup and hub transfer routes across our New York locations. You'll be a critical part of our supply chain — keeping product moving safely, on time, and in compliance.
- Run routes between our Rochester hub and NY brand locations, with day hauls to other Nabis hubs
- Overnight stays in the Bronx Monday–Thursday (DOT-compliant scheduling)
- Conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections in line with company SOPs and OSHA standards
- Secure cargo using chains and binders; re-verify load stability throughout trips
- Inspect trailers for air line and jack position status before and after loading
- Visit weigh stations as required and adjust loads to meet state safety regulations
- Assist with unloading at understaffed delivery sites while maintaining product integrity
- Keep fleet vehicles clean, secure, and flagged for any maintenance needs
- Navigate routes via GPS; communicate with dispatch via CB radio and cab computer
- Maintain professional communication with warehouse teams and dispatch at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years of occupational driving experience
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Up-to-date medical card
- Must be 21+
- Availability for overnight routes Monday–Thursday
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift
- Strong judgment, communication, and time management skills
- Comfortable adopting new technology quickly
