An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services\nfor a Cleaning Supervisor to join our established team at St Johns Shopping\nCentre in Liverpool.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

This is a hands\-on, customer\-facing role where you will lead\nby example, working alongside the cleaning team to maintain exceptional\nstandards throughout the centre. Whilst supervision forms part of the role,\nthis is not a desk\-based position. We are looking for someone who is visible,\napproachable and takes pride in creating a clean, safe and welcoming\nenvironment for shoppers, retailers and visitors.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

At St Johns, our cleaning team plays an important role in\ncreating a positive experience for everyone who visits the centre. We're\nlooking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their\nsurroundings and leads by example.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

The successful candidate will be proactive, observant and\nadaptable, with the confidence to lead a team from the front.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

This is a fully flexible role requiring availability across a\nvariety of days and shift patterns (including weekends), as per the site rota.\nShifts may begin as early as 6am, so reliable transport for early starts is\nessential.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Duties include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Leading from the front as a hands\-on supervisor, working\nalongside the cleaning team every day.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintaining exceptional cleaning and presentation standards\nthroughout the shopping centre.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Acting as an ambassador for St Johns Shopping Centre,\nproviding a welcoming, helpful and professional presence for customers and\nretailers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Conducting regular walk\-rounds of the centre, identifying and\naddressing issues before they impact the customer experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Supporting and motivating team members to deliver consistently\nhigh standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Building positive relationships with retailers, visitors and\ncolleagues across the centre.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ensuring all cleaning activities are carried out safely and in\naccordance with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Supporting the wider operation of the centre by responding\nflexibly to changing priorities and daily challenges.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      Requirements<\/h3>
      • Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities environment,\nwith previous supervisory or team leader experience<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Strong understanding of cleaning standards, methods, and best\npractices, ideally within a retail or busy environment<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to\nachieve high performance standards<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage\nwith colleagues, management, and members of the public<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to handle customer queries, complaints, and conflict\nprofessionally and calmly<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Reliable, punctual and organised, with a proactive approach to\nmaintaining high standards<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Flexible approach to work, including availability for early\nstarts, late finishes, and weekend shifts<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to work in a fast\-paced, customer\-facing environment\nwhile maintaining attention to detail<\/span><\/span><\/span>
