Help create memorable events while delivering exceptional customer service! This role serves as a key point of contact for catering clients, coordinating event details from initial inquiry through execution. Responsibilities include preparing sales proposals, managing contracts in catering software, generating production requests, and ensuring accurate billing and customer satisfaction through timely communication and follow-up.
The position works closely with customers, student organizations, and campus partners to support successful catering events and daily operations. Additional duties include training and supervising student office staff, coordinating departmental needs, maintaining office supplies, assisting with event setup and teardown, and providing support for food service operations and cashiering as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Mon-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience coordinating catering, hospitality, event planning, or food service operations.
• Experience preparing contracts, proposals, or invoices.
• Experience using catering management, event management, point-of-sale, or customer relationship management software.
• Experience training, leading, or supervising student employees, temporary staff, or team members.
• Experience working in a higher education, conference center, hospitality, or large-scale event environment.
