Client Account Manager
The impact you’ll make:
As a Client Account Manager, you will support our Lead Client Partners to develop and grow their business. Your typical day will include:
- Partner with the Lead Client Service Partner to shape, prioritise, and execute the strategic account plan, leading end-to-end account management planning and supporting the Client Service Team to deliver strategic account priorities and growth outcomes.
- Act as a trusted business partner to the client service team, contributing to the overall outcome of delivering the best of Deloitte to the client, bringing informed perspectives and constructive challenge.
- Drive high-performing account operations by embedding best practice, setting effective account cadence, and curating leadership forums that strengthen growth and client relationships, supporting alignment and momentum.
- Work closely with the Lead Client Partner to connect resources across service portfolios, uncover opportunities, and deliver targeted client solutions as a unified Deloitte brand.
- Own pipeline quality and account insight reporting, using key metrics to inform decisions and maintain momentum, translating insight into clear actions and priorities.
- Facilitate strategy workshops to align on client objectives, actions, and resources, driving agreed priorities.
- Support pursuits by shaping opportunity strategy, mobilising the right resources, and helping position Deloitte effectively to improve win probability and commercial outcomes.
- Generate client insight through feedback and win/loss reviews, helping the account team adapt its approach, and embedding insights into future actions.
- Bring a business partner mindset to the account team, contributing commercially, operationally, and strategically to deliver the best of Deloitte to the client.
Your expertise:
Bring your sound commercial experience and at least 8+ years’ relevant experience in strategic or key account management within a complex B2B environment to see what impact you can make.
You’ll also have:
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed organisation, ideally within professional services or a similar corporate environment.
- Strong account planning and growth strategy capability, with experience supporting account direction and growth aspirations.
- Experience identifying and managing opportunities or pursuits through to outcome.
- A strong relationship builder with a client focus, and the ability to work with internal stakeholders, including Partners, and articulate client needs from a business and commercial perspective.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to build teams, incubate ideas, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with a credible and persuasive communication style.
- A critical thinker, able to ask open questions and probe meaningfully to create innovative ideas that further the success of client relationships.
