Job Summary

You will support clinic operations by managing patient registration, scheduling appointments with reminders, handling payments and claims, preparing and dispensing medications, assisting in procedures, supporting doctors during consultations, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

  • Register patients accurately and schedule appointments, including sending timely reminders to reduce no-shows
  • Respond promptly to phone, SMS, and email queries to ensure effective communication with patients
  • Process payments and prepare submissions for TPA, Medisave, Insurance claims, and related documentation to ensure timely reimbursement
  • Prepare patients’ medications for doctor review and dispense medications following standard procedures
  • Assist in performing simple in-clinic procedures such as ECG and nebulizer treatments after training
  • Support doctors during consultations and perform chaperone duties to facilitate smooth patient care
  • Address and resolve first-level patient complaints to maintain patient satisfaction
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately according to clinic guidelines to ensure data integrity
  • Assist in daily clinic operations and upkeep to maintain a clean and efficient work environment
  • Manage medication, consumables, and equipment inventory including replenishment and housekeeping to ensure availability and safety
  • Perform other administrative tasks related to patient care, records, and clinic operations as needed

Required competencies and certifications

  • Ability to commit to a 5.5-day work week (44 hours), including Monday evenings and Saturday mornings, with no overnight shifts
  • Diploma in any discipline, GCE 'A' Level, 'O' Level, or Higher NITEC
  • Familiarity with clinic operations
  • Strong service attitude focused on customer care and continuous learning
  • Dependable team player with effective collaboration skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in hospital or medical clinic operations and front desk duties
  • Experience in submitting insurance and Medisave claims
  • Familiarity with Plato CMS software
