Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fun-loving, responsible, proactive, and a strong team player. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing outstanding service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Interaction:

  • Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Assist patients with the completion of necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, handling any necessary rescheduling or follow-up.
  • Provide information to patients regarding procedures, treatments, and eye care products.

Clinical Support:

  • Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • *Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists with various diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Perform preliminary tests, such as visual acuity tests and ocular pressure measurements, under the supervision of eye care professionals.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments according to clinic protocols.


Administrative Duties:

  • Handle billing and private/corporate insurance claims, including verifying insurance information and processing payments.
  • Order and stock medical supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other clinic staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Able to travel to different branches (Transport fees will be compensated).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum O-Levels Certification
  • Previous medical or clinical experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with office software and basic medical equipment.
