Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health Consultant)

About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD. This position is located within Naval Hospital Pensacola Florida, DIR of Mental Health. Incumbent will be required to work M-F, 0700-1530, may be required to work uncommon duty hours; Certain incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose mental health interventions.

Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.

Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.

Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.

Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
