Summary of the Role
Responsible of clinical support of MCS product product portfolio; summarizing the overall job duties
Plan, develop and execute strategic educational activities and partnerships with HCPs.
Champion Terumo product knowledge relating it to latest clinical guideline/recommendations and market situation, to provide consultation to HCPs, distributors, and customers.
Provide and align education activities with sales personnel to achieve KPI and sales goal.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
1. Education Function
Manage HCPs in developing current and new HCPs to support Terumo Malaysia educational activities
Plan and coordinate Terumo Malaysia educational activities such as but not limited to lectures, workshops, clinical articles with HCPs according to business direction
Develop strategic educational activities and partnerships with HCPs, hospitals, associations, Ministry of Health, and educational institutions
Execute educational activities for customers in product awareness and clinical applications
Support sales team/distributor in product training, product troubleshooting, and collecting customer feedback on product/services
Actively participate in standards committee, local/international guidelines, professional associations, and standards setting organizations
Prepare educational presentation materials in softcopy/hardcopy.
2. Consultation Function
Provide solutions to enhance patient and end users’ (practitioner) safety
Consultation on current and potential clinical issues
Assistance with policy/ guideline and procedure development of healthcare settings.
Consultation on standardization on products and practices
Contribute relevant information based on evidence-based practices, recommendations, guidelines for sales and marketing materials.
Collaborate with marketing and sales team and support them to ensure optimum customer's experience.
Build good working relationship with HCPs
Ensure compliance with company policies in interactions with HCPs
Establish KOL network, strengthen relationship with decision maker & end user
Manage and achieving sales target for direct and in-direct sales target
Manage KOL pool outreach, engagement and expansion program
Participate in exhibition or trade show
Education & Experience
Nursing Profession is highly recommended.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical Practical experience in a clinical setting, especially in infection control, is crucial.
Experience with medical devices and understanding their role in preventing infections is highly valuable.
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, coaching, communication and consulting skills.
Self-starter with strong results orientation and success in moving business toward long-term goals
Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, provide training on infection control practices, and explain complex technical information.
Strong analytical skills to assess infection risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Understands customer needs, feedback and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of value
