Cloud Automation Engineer

This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their skills in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the design, deployment, and operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute in designing, provisioning, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Write and maintain Terraform code to automate infrastructure deployments
- Participate in the monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement of cloud environments
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
- Document infrastructure, processes, and runbooks
Requirements:
- AWS: Hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)
- Terraform: Experience writing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Basic understanding of networking (DNS, load balancers, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration
- Experience with Docker and container-based deployments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS or self-managed clusters)
- Experience designing or operating highly available architectures (multi-AZ, failover, auto-scaling)
- Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments
