Club Maintenance Staff

Position Summary: Keep all facilities and equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the racquet club. Complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following the club's standard operating procedures. Continually work towards and support the improvement of facilities and services for members, other departments, and fellow team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Respond and attend to member and staff facility repair requests.
• Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and lighting systems throughout the club.
• Check for new maintenance requests from club management and update status once tasks are completed.
• Perform maintenance activities in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas, including plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing hardware, and maintaining electrical equipment including lighting.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of club equipment.
• Regularly perform preventive maintenance duties including lubrication of equipment, changing filters, checking fire extinguishers, and other duties to prevent major or costly breakdowns as assigned.
• Operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
• Monitor Fire Alarm / Life Safety Systems as necessary.
• Keep all tools and supplies secure throughout shift to prevent loss or theft.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
