Role Overview<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
  • Conduct\nvillage\-level site mapping (vulnerability mapping, health services/facility\nmapping, and household mapping).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Understand\nthe migration patterns (both in and out migration) in the local community.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Reach\nout to the un\-reached HRIs/groups and vulnerable young people with information\nand skills relevant to HIV prevention and risk reduction.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Provide\nrelevant information regarding condom use, using innovative means that are\ncontextually, locally and culturally appropriate.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Work\ntowards reducing stigma and discrimination in the community by facilitating\ninvolvement of HIV positive people, community groups like SHGs, PRI and VHSC,\nand bringing into focus and addressing gender dimensions of stigma and\ndiscrimination.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Advocate\nwith identified stakeholders for creating an enabling environment (and reducing\nstigma and discrimination).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain\nrapport with local health units and facilitate access to services.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Have\nknowledge about the key health facilities in the vicinity, at FRU and the\ndistrict level, and possess necessary information about the services available\nat the identified facilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Work\ntowards reducing barriers to accessing services and promote STI management and\npartner notification.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Coordinate\nthe linkage between communities and service institutions (especially ICTC,\nPHC/CHC, RTI /STI clinic and district hospital).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Identify\nand train volunteers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collect\nmonthly data from condom depot holders.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare\nmonthly reports for his/her area according to a pre\-defined format.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Education\nand Skills:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    She/he should be a\nIntermediate and equal vent to qualification and preferably with 2\-year\nexperience programs related to health, livelihood programs, rural development,\nmicrofinance and HIV/AIDS programs.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p>

    Knowledge\nand Skills:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    Familiarity with government\nhealth policies and programs Strong communication skills<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/p>

    Ability to work in small\nteams, and flexible ways of working<\/span><\/span>
