CMS Configuration Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented CMS Configuration Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in application configuration using XML, SQL, and PDF-based form development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in configuring, enhancing, and supporting CMS applications in a release-driven environment. This role is primarily focused on application configuration, system support, and release management, with limited development exposure in .NET technologies.

As our CMS Configuration Engineer, you will be required to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain CMS configurations using XML-based frameworks
  • Configure and support web application components within the CMS platform
  • Develop and automate PDF based Forms
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to support feature releases and enhancements
  • Analyze CMS application behavior and identify UI/system limitations, recommending improvements
  • Support release activities, including deployments, patches, and hotfixes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure configuration quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices
  • Participate in review processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with platform/product teams in a release-driven environment
  • Develop and support fullstack (backend and frontend) components using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET)

  • 3–4 years of experience in application configuration and support roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with XML-based configurations
  • Good working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures)
  • Experience in developing or managing PDF-based forms/templates
  • Basic understanding of web application architecture
  • Exposure to release/support environments and defect management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET)
  • Experience with enterprise CMS platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD or release management tools
  • Experience working in product-based or platform engineering environments
