CNC Machinist
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the set-up, operations, maintenance and inspection of CNC machines, tools, materials and products, including the following job responsibilities:
· CNC programming, operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, turning etc.
· Perform routine maintenance of all precision computer equipment by running tests, replacing worn or broken parts and keeping inventory of CNC machines parts and supplies.
· Verify CNC machine settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces to ensure adherence to quality standards.
· Modify CNC machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured metal parts.
· Set up components such as tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, etc.
· Program CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
· Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
· Perform inspections of equipment, structures, materials and products.
· Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
· Any other adhoc duties assigned by supervisor or Management.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of proven work experience, in CNC programing and operating CNC machines.
· Knowledge of CNC machine operations, tooling and using precision measurement tools.
· Computer savvy with familiarity in programming and interpreting CNC programing software.
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
· Possess strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
· Hands-on experience as CNC Machinist.
