CNC Machinist

About the Role
Our client, a manufacturing company in the oil & gas sector, is looking to fill this CNC Machinist position on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on technical role suited to a candidate with genuine machining capability—beyond basic machine operation, you will be expected to read and interpret mechanical drawings independently and work confidently with Fanuc-controlled CNC turning and/or milling machines. .

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily machine set-up
• Operate CNC turning and/or milling machines
• Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Apply knowledge of measuring instruments and ball gauges
• Perform basic programming (an advantage)
• Maintain housekeeping standards at the workstation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC turning or milling, preferably within the oil & gas industry
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with Fanuc Controls
• Minimum NTC2 qualification

Work Arrangements

• Location: West Singapore
• Working hours: Monday – Friday
• Day shift: 8.00am – 5.15pm
• Night shift: 10.45pm – 8.00am
