CNC Programmer

Location: Tuas
Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: Negotiable

Responsibilities

  • Review customer drawings and clarify technical issues before production.
  • Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam.
  • Prepare setup sheets, measuring sketches, and tooling lists for new and repeat jobs.
  • Select cutting tools, machining parameters, and design fixtures.
  • Analyze machining defects and implement program improvements.
  • Back up proven programs to the server after First Article (FA) approval.
  • Support vendors and production on technical issues related to drawings and machining.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and ensure programs meet drawing specifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' CNC programming experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC milling & turning, CAD/CAM, and machining processes.
  • Familiar with Mastercam; knowledge of FeatureCAM, SolidWorks, or Vericut is an advantage.
