This should demonstrate your knowledge and experience of violence against women, trauma-informed practice, partnership working, experience of delivering and evaluating projects using evidence and best practice. It should also evidence policy or service development, effective communication, and the ability to use data to monitor performance and deliver clear, outcome-focused impact.

Job Details

The main focus of this post is to support the work of Fife Violence Against Women Partnership (FVAVWP). This is a key role leading on multi-agency coordination to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls, in line with the Equally Safe strategy.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the Chair and Lead Officer of FVAWP to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate a VAW strategy and action plan supporting activity aligned to Equally Safe.
  • Support effective multi-agency partnership working by developing and maintaining strong links across statutory and third sector organisations, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and coordinated delivery that meets service user needs.
  • Lead development of VAWG policy, guidance and practice, and support partners to strengthen their frameworks, training, monitoring and service user involvement.
  • Coordinate multi-agency projects, including funding applications and reporting to external funders.
  • Coordinate and support Practitioners Network to share best practice and learning opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate projects and workforce development in line with national and local best practice.
  • Representing Fife Violence Against Women Partnership at local and national levels.
  • Producing accessible, high-quality information for public and practitioners.

The Person

You will be educated to SCQF level 9 and have significant experience of working in the field of violence against women.

You will have experience of engaging with a range of agencies (both voluntary and statutory) and stakeholders on a strategic and operational level in the VAWG sector.

You will have demonstrable skills in policy/service development, clear communication, and using data to monitor performance and drive outcome-focused improvement.

You must be able to travel throughout Fife.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

While the significant part of the role can and will be carried out remotely, candidates should be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required.
