Coach - ACTES

Auberle strengthens thousands of individuals and families each year, helping to build strong communities. Auberle has evolved into a premier multi-service agency with programs spanning Workforce Development, Housing, Foster Care, Young Adult Services, and Behavioral Health. Auberle’s mission is to help build strong individuals, families, and communities.

In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department.

Program Description:

The Employment Institute, Auberle's nationally recognized workforce development program, places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career jobs, not just training. Our passionate, mission-driven team supports individuals in overcoming any barrier to employment impacting our participants, their families, and future generations. Because of our holistic model, 84% of our participants remain in employment for six months or more, a long-term indicator of success in the workplace. Auberle’s Employment Institute is the implementation partner of Achieving Change through Transitional Employment Services (ACTES) South Hilltop.

ACTES is an evidence-based, complex and resource-intensive program that aims to decrease violence involvement and recidivism with high-risk adult men by interrupting the social and economic influences of violence perpetration and victimization. Based on the Rapid Employment and Development Initiative (READI Chicago) model, ACTES combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), paid transitional jobs (TJ) and wraparound support services.
