Due to Memorial Health System’s not-for-profit status, internships are unpaid. However, students receive meaningful hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to projects that support the organization’s mission of providing high-quality healthcare to the communities we serve.
Internship placements are based on organizational needs and student areas of study.

Essential Functions:
- Assist department staff with projects, research, and administrative tasks related to departmental operations.
- Participate in experiential learning opportunities that apply academic knowledge to real-world healthcare environments.
- Support data collection, reporting, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Observe and learn departmental workflows, policies, and professional practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Complete assigned projects or tasks within designated timeframes.
