Commercial Analyst
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Commercial Analyst to support the commercial and financial operations of the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing commercial agreements, partner relationships, performance-based compensation calculations, reporting, and operational processes.
A core responsibility of this role is the monthly calculation, reconciliation, and validation of performance-based compensation, partner remuneration, and commercial incentive schemes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual agreements.
The successful candidate will work closely with Business Development teams across the Group and act as a key point of coordination between Commercial, Finance, Operations, and external partners. This role requires a confident, proactive, and resilient individual with a strong personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build credibility, manage stakeholders effectively, and drive tasks through to completion in a fast-paced environment.
Key Functions:
- Calculate, reconcile, and validate monthly performance-based compensation, partner remuneration, and commercial incentive schemes.
- Prepare compensation reports and supporting documentation for management review and approval.
- Manage commercial agreements, partner documentation, and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate partner payments and maintain accurate payment records.
- Act as a key liaison for Business Development teams across the Group, maintaining daily communication and ensuring commercial activities, agreements, incentive structures, and operational matters are handled efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Business Development teams, and external partners.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding matters and ensure actions are completed within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of business activities.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, BI tools, and internal platforms.
- Produce commercial and operational reports to support business decision-making.
- Support profitability analysis and commercial performance reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Core Competencies and Required Background:
- Previous experience in a Commercial Analyst, Commercial Operations, Finance Operations, Business Operations, or similar role.
- Experience within the Trading, Brokerage, Financial Services, Fintech, or CFD industry is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
- Experience managing performance-based compensation calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Experience using CRM systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work confidently with multiple Business Development teams and senior stakeholders across different jurisdictions.
