- Drive Financial Performance: Monitor project budgets, labor, freight, installation, and product costs while protecting project profitability and achieving targeted margins.
- Manage Change Orders & Risk: Identify scope changes, prepare change orders, document project extras, and proactively manage issues that could impact schedule, budget, or customer satisfaction.
- Ensure Successful Project Closeout: Complete punch lists, finalize documentation, verify customer satisfaction, and close projects accurately and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years of project management experience; commercial furniture, construction, interiors, or related industry experience preferred.
- Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing project budgets, tracking costs, and understanding profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Relationship Builder: Professional communicator who develops strong client relationships and works effectively across multiple departments.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional planning, documentation, and follow-through skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable with CRM tools, and project management software.
What Will Make You Successful Here
- Ownership Mentality: You take full responsibility for your projects from kickoff through final closeout, ensuring every commitment is delivered.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You anticipate challenges before they become issues and confidently develop solutions that keep projects on track.
- Financial Accountability: You understand that successful projects require both satisfied clients and healthy profit margins, and you actively manage both.
- Operational Excellence: Organization, documentation, communication, and follow-through are second nature. Your projects run smoothly because nothing falls through the cracks.
- You partner naturally with AOI's design, sales, operations, and installation teams to deliver an experience that reflects well on everyone, and keeps clients coming back.
