Job Description\:
As a member of the Commercial team, you will support the maintenance of the T45 platforms as part of the Warship Support team. The projects are high profile, complex and fast-paced with a high-performance team culture. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with other functions and organisations as part of the team, this is a challenging and exciting role with development opportunity.
Core duties\:
- You will manage commercial registers and administration of commercial documentation
- You will support to the change process – coordinating inputs and preparing proposal documentation (including pricing and contractual information) for internal approval and final submission to the customer for negotiation
- You will approve bids within delegated authority
- You will provide day-to-day commercial support to Project Teams and other functions. This will include Contractual and commercial advice; Processing of payment claims; and production of key reporting inputs, meetings packs and meeting outcomes
- You will be a commercial point of contact for customer on commercial matters within scope of responsibility, including attending stakeholder meetings as required
Essential Skills\:
- You will have experience within commercial or supply chain, ideally alongside a relevant qualification. Your skill set will be demonstrated through highly effective communication and stakeholder influencing skills
- You will have awareness of contracting principles
- You will be able to demonstrate a good financial awareness
The T45 Commercial Team\:
You will be coming into a varied role, joining a supportive commercial team which you can tap into. As part of the wider warship support team, you will be a point of contact for the customer in a role where each day is different.
