Acts as financial business partner for P&L leader to drive business results for a business line or region. Directs the planning and control of financial results consistent with long-term business objectives. Provides direction and counselling to the business leadership team and supporting financial resources on a wide variety of business/financial issues to ensure satisfactory performance vs. plans.

Responsibilities

  1. Interacts with Sales (channel managers) and Account Managers to review new and existing customer business proposals. Analysis includes impact of pricing actions, product mix, and promotional programs on the profitability of Garrett Korea and its customers.

  2. Coordinates development and analysis of monthly Contribution Margin and (periodically) All-in-Margin profitability, assisting Korea General Manager and Finance Leader in understanding the trends and direction of their business.

  3. Leads development of annual profit plan and quarterly financial forecasts for all commercial aspects. This includes, but is not limited to, sales volume, material margin, and program costs, customer-funded tooling.

  4. Proactively analyzes overall commercial business and individual account economics and product mix trends and brings actionable customer trends to the attention of the General Manager and the Finance Leader and respective channel/account managers. Tracks margin enhancement tasks and monitors progress and impact of these projects on the profitability of the commercial business.

  5. Provides direction to sales accounting supervisor and sales associates regarding customer price change, customer quotation and return/credit processes.

  6. Participates cross-functionally on task forces, process improvement teams and systems development

KEY SKILLS / MUST HAVE

  • Strong analytical, problem solving & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities to effective closure.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

  • +6-8 years FP&A or Finance Operations relevant experience in multinational - use to work in remote environment & complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion (HFM and Essbase), Microsoft Office (strong Excel & PowerPoint requirements) and data warehouse applications
  • English required
