Commis – Pastry & Bakery
Assist Pastry Chef / CDP Pastry in daily pastry and bakery operations.
Prepare mise en place for desserts, pastries, breads, and baked items.
Support in production of cakes, desserts, doughs, creams, and fillings according to standard recipes.
Ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet international brand standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of pastry and bakery workstations.
Follow HACCP, food safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Proper storage and labeling of pastry and bakery ingredients.
Operate pastry and bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Support service requirements during peak hours and special events.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Commis – Pastry/Bakery in a hotel or reputed restaurant.
Experience with international or branded restaurants preferred.
Basic culinary or pastry certification is an advantage.
Knowledge of pastry, bakery techniques, and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexible with shifts and physically fit.
Willing to work in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
