WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Maintain strategic and sustainable relationships with key suppliers to plan, organize, and drive optimal sourcing activities.
- Participate in the budget preparation process.
- Manage agreements in line with both current and long-term objectives.
- Oversee periodic price list revisions and conduct negotiations with suppliers.
- Develop cost reduction projects, including benchmarking, supplier onboarding, RFI/RFQ processes, component approval, and start of production.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure the achievement of compliance and sustainability targets.
- Work closely with the logistics department to ensure continuity of supply and accurate TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) calculation.
- Cooperate with the NPI team to ensure alignment between product development and commodity strategy.
- Maintain and update KPI tracking files monthly.
WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE
- University bachelor’s degree, Engineering or Economic education is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing in a multinational environment, Alternatively, experiences in adjacent disciplines especially in logistic or operations management.
- Mandatory fluent in English, any other language is an asset.
