Commodity Officer

📦 Commodity Officer – World Vision Ethiopia (Gambela)

🚚 Manage receipt, storage & distribution of food commodities (WFP standards)

📊 Ensure accurate records, reporting & documentation (waybills, ledgers, audits)

🏬 Monitor warehouse operations, stock control & commodity tracking systems

🤝 Coordinate with logistics, reporting & field teams for timely delivery

🧑‍🏫 Train storekeepers & support staff on warehouse management systems

🛡️ Ensure compliance with donor rules, reduce losses & safeguard resources

🎓 Requirement:

BA in Accounting or related field

3–4 years experience in food assistance/NGO supply chain

Strong knowledge of WFP/GACAP & emergency food programs

Good reporting, communication & team leadership skills

📌 INGO experience preferred | High-pressure field environment
