About the Role
The Communications & Fundraising Coordinator plays a key role in bringing New Freedom’s mission to life through compelling content, strong brand execution, and impactful donor communications. This position supports both marketing and fundraising efforts by creating high-quality print and digital materials, managing production workflows, and helping tell the story of our impact in the community.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Print Production & Design - manage the workflows from concept through vendor coordination and final delivery; design and produce marketing assets (flyers, brochures, banners, email templates, and social media graphics); and maintain and organize digital asset libraries and templates
- Marketing and content support – collaborate with internal teams to support internal communications and external outreach campaigns; monitor engagement and usage metrics and suggesting improvements; stay current on design trends, tools, and nonprofit marketing best practice; and support events, presentations, and social media scheduling as needed
- Fundraising and Donor Communications – create donor-facing materials including campaign assets, impact reports, and event collateral; assist with donor email campaigns and communications scheduling; manage donor stewardship touchpoints such as acknowledgements and recognition materials; and support coordination of development of marketing efforts
- Community Impact Storytelling – collect and document community restitution and program impact stories; capture content through photography and storytelling; and help translate program outcomes into compelling materials for donors and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with digital tools and systems
- Basic experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
- Interest in nonprofit communications, fundraising, and storytelling
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, design, or related field
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with social media or email marketing platforms preferred
- Basic photo/video editing skills preferred
- Experience with print production or vendor coordination preferred
- Exposure to nonprofit or fundraising work preferred
