Communications Manager, Policy & Public Affairs

You will lead high-stakes communications that shape public understanding of policy and regulatory matters. You will translate complex litigation and filings into clear narratives, engage national political and financial journalists, drive digital and social media campaigns (including X), mobilize consumer advocacy, and maintain long-term brand authority across election and regulatory cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the communications strategy for high-stakes legislative and regulatory initiatives
  • Translate complex litigation and filings into clear public narratives
  • Elevate the voice of consumers to inform policymakers
  • Leverage relationships with national political financial and tech journalists to secure earned media
  • Use X and other social platforms to communicate directly with community policymakers and thought leaders
  • Maintain brand authority across election and regulatory cycles

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in high-stakes political communications (Hill campaign or agency rapid-response)
  • Proven track record as a spokesperson managing high-pressure national media inquiries
  • Deep understanding of driving news cycles and moving public opinion via digital platforms
  • Ownership mindset and ability to operate in a campaign-style environment
  • Commitment to working in a non-partisan environment and passion for the potential of crypto
  • Within the DC area (nice to have)
