COMPANY ACCOUNTANT
A company accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making by providing accurate financial data. This role is critical for maintaining the financial health and transparency of any organization.
Financial transactions: Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and oversee general ledger entries.
Budgeting and forecasting: Prepare financial forecasts and assist in strategic planning.
Tax compliance: Compute taxes, prepare returns, and ensure adherence to local and international tax laws.
Financial reporting: Publish monthly, quarterly, and annual statements for management and stakeholders.
Auditing: Conduct internal audits, variance analyses, and support external audits.
Internal controls: Maintain systems to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/Finance
3 years of experience
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
