Job Description
Experience
- 3 years of experience in a legal, regulatory, and/or healthcare environment with direct experience in understanding and implementing government regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a academic medical center or complex health system with pediatric healthcare experience preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field required
Certification Summary
- No professional certifications required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance, investigation, auditing, and monitoring concepts
- Familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance risks
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and compliance incident management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
- Customer-service mindset and collaborative approach
Job Responsibilities
- Support compliance monitoring and auditing activities, including data collection and analysis
- Track corrective action plans and follow up with stakeholders
- Assist with investigations, including research and documentation
- Maintain compliance records, files, and databases
- Support compliance reporting and dashboard preparation
- Assist with responses to regulatory or audit inquiries and other compliance communications
- Coordinate logistics and udpates for compliance training and initiatives
- Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts
- Provide general operational support to the compliance program
