Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs a variety of professional duties related to auditing municipal, county, and state agencies for their administration of Utah Retirement Systems benefit plans with their employees in compliance with plan requirements. Provides direction, education, and training to these agencies for correcting noncompliance in their administrative policies and procedures covering benefit plan matters.

Required Experience
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, organizational communication, or related field and two (2) years of auditing, compliance, or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in providing group presentations or direct customer service is preferred.

- Microsoft Office Suite.

- Calculate figures and amounts such as payroll and wages totals.

- Title 49, Utah Code Annotated.

Work Environment
Incumbent performs in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls. Tasks require a variety of physical activities which do not generally involve muscular strain, but do require activities related to walking, standing, stooping, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and seeing. Common eye, hand, finger dexterity required to perform essential functions.
Job duties require occasional travel for office business. Individual must be physically capable of safely operating a vehicle, possess a valid license and have an acceptable driving record based upon data provided by a current Department of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
