The CPA is responsible for both inspecting the work of Ziply\nFiber OSP contractors and guiding the work efforts of contract inspectors in\nthe CPA\u2019s region to ensure all OSP work meets cost, timeline, and quality\nexpectations for customers.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> The Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nlisted below are a range of duties performed by the employee and not intended\nto reflect all duties performed.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> Field Inspections & Compliance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform aerial and underground inspections along with audits of\ncontractors performing inspections, corrections, and foreign pole transfers in\naccordance with the NESC and Ziply standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span> ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Act as the first\-level field approval for necessary changes found in\nfield. Partner with Engineering and vendor team regarding potential solutions.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> Contractor Oversight & Dispatch<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors via email or through\nonline database applications, with the ability to assist the contract\ninspectors in resolving NESC or FPT complex issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span> ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform training of contract personnel in the accepted aerial plant\ninspection and correction methods used by Ziply, as well as the associated\nfield software applications.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
