          The Construction Project Administrator (CPA)\nrole is critical to ensuring outside plant (OSP) construction work is performed\nto industry standards and meets requirements for cost and engineering\nexpectations. The CPA is responsible for both inspecting the work of Ziply\nFiber OSP contractors and guiding the work efforts of contract inspectors in\nthe CPA\u2019s region to ensure all OSP work meets cost, timeline, and quality\nexpectations for customers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Field Inspections & Compliance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform aerial and underground inspections along with audits of\ncontractors performing inspections, corrections, and foreign pole transfers in\naccordance with the NESC and Ziply standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Act as the first\-level field approval for necessary changes found in\nfield. Partner with Engineering and vendor team regarding potential solutions.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Contractor Oversight & Dispatch<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors via email or through\nonline database applications, with the ability to assist the contract\ninspectors in resolving NESC or FPT complex issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform training of contract personnel in the accepted aerial plant\ninspection and correction methods used by Ziply, as well as the associated\nfield software applications.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Process Improvement & Technology Enablement<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Involved in the development, trials, and implementation of new\nprocesses, process documentation, web applications, and field software\ninvolving NESC inspections and corrections, and pole transfer work.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Issue Resolution & Community Coordination<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Issue/dispute resolution: partner with vendor team to resolve issues\nthat arise during the construction process. Bore\-throughs, tree trimming, and\nother complaints with citizens impacted by the fiber deployment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Serve as a Municipality liaison, working with various municipalities\nregarding permitting, traffic control, and other concerns regarding the overall\nimpact of OSP work within the community.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform invoice processing, work within project workflow databases to\nreview and process vendor invoicing adhering to Ziply accounting guidelines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          ·<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support Ziply Fiber values, works with team members across several\ndisciplines including Business and Consumer, Network Services, various customer\ngroups including homebuilders, general contractors, and sub\-contractors.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Required Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

          • High school diploma or GED.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Minimum five (5) years\u2019 experience in outside\n plant (OSP) construction and/or OSP engineering.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, and\n PowerPoint; and proficient/comfortable with Microsoft Excel to include the\n development of forms, the use of internal and external hyperlinks, as well\n as simple functions and their structure (i.e. COUNT, COUNTIF, SUBTOTAL,\n SUM, etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

            • Knowledge of the NESC, OSP construction\n techniques, telecom industry OSP best practices, and overall maintenance\n of a safe job site is a must; with the ability to determine cost effective\n solutions to bring into compliance complex aerial cable problems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

            • Ability to work with other team members to ensure\n timely completion, quality work and safe working practices throughout the\n labor and billing cycle.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

            • Ability to learn the current Ziply\n construction unit coding is required in the contract inspection position.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
