As a Rigger, you will play a crucial role in the installation of our\ncutting\-edge racking systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to\ntimelines.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> QUALIFICATIONS /\nEXPERIENCE<\/span><\/b> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience as a Construction\nRigger or in a closely related rigging role within construction or industrial\nenvironments<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Relevant trade qualification or recognised\nrigging certification (or equivalent demonstrated work experience)<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Current full driver licence, Construction White\nCard, and applicable High Risk Work licences (including Rigging \u2013 Basic /\nIntermediate / Advanced as required)<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Working at Heights certification; crane, dogman,\nscissor lift and forklift licences highly desirable<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Physical capability to safely perform manual\nhandling, rigging tasks, and work at heights<\/span> <\/span> MAIN\nRESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/b> The main responsibilities for this\nposition include, but are not limited to:<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Planning and performing rigging activities to\nsafely lift, move, and position structural steel, racking components, and\nassociated equipment on construction and industrial sites.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assembles and\ninstalls rigging gear, such as cables, ropes, pulleys and winches, to lift,\nlower, move and position equipment, structural steel and other heavy objects.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Erecting lifting\ntackles by attaching pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures, and\ninstalling cables and attaching counterweights<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Attaching\nslinging gear to hoisting equipment and objects to be moved using clamps,\nhooks, bolts and knots<\/span>, in accordance with load requirements and safety\nstandards.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinating crane lifts and working closely with\ncrane operators, dogmen, and installation teams to ensure controlled and\naccurate placement of loads.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lifting and\npositioning sections of frames and racking systems<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Setting up\nwinches and rigging equipment to raise and position girders, plates, columns\nand other steel units<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Interpreting lift plans, engineering drawings,\nand site instructions to determine safe lifting methods and rigging\nconfigurations.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Carrying out rigging tasks at height, including\nworking from elevated work platforms, scaffolding, or structural steel\nframeworks.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensuring loads are stabilised, balanced, and\nsecured during lifting and positioning to prevent damage, instability, or\nsafety risks.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Conducting pre\-lift checks and ongoing\ninspections of rigging equipment, identifying hazards and removing defective\ngear from service.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintaining strict compliance with Workplace\nHealth & Safety legislation, site\-specific safety procedures, and high\-risk\nwork requirements.<\/span> <\/span><\/span> Join Montaze Broz Pty Ltd and be part of a team\ndedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceeding client expectations.\nWith numerous projects across Australia, joining our team means being part of a\ndynamic and growing company with a reputation for excellence. <\/span>If you are a skilled, organised, and\nmotivated individual looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage\nyou to apply. <\/span><\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/span> To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing\nyour relevant experience and qualifications.
