Construction Scheduling Administrator
The Construction Scheduling Admin I plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the construction scheduling team within the organization. This entry-level position involves assisting in the coordination, documentation, and communication of project schedules to ensure efficient project execution. This is fully onsite at our project in Boise, ID.
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 DOE + Incentives
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of project schedules using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Input project data, including task descriptions, durations, dependencies, and resource assignments, into scheduling software under the guidance of senior scheduling staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedule documentation, including task lists, milestone charts, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers and senior schedulers to gather project updates and revisions, ensuring timely incorporation into the master schedule.
- Generate and distribute schedule-related reports and updates to project teams and stakeholders as directed.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls related to project scheduling activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the construction scheduling team, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance scheduling knowledge and skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; Associate's degree or technical certification in construction management, project management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with project teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in scheduling tasks and data entry.
- Ability to work under supervision and learn new skills quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Reports to:
The Construction Scheduling Admin I reports to the Schedule Manager or another designated manager within the project management team
Work Environment:
The work environment for the Construction Scheduling Admin I is typically office-based, with occasional meetings with project teams and stakeholders. This role may require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines or address urgent scheduling issues. The Construction Scheduling Admin I will work closely with project managers, senior schedulers, and other stakeholders to support the scheduling process and contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.
