Last Energy seeks a Construction Services Manager to lead site development activities for our pilot test reactor project. This role will act as the single point of contact for construction and site development, managing relationships with EPC firms, coordinating vendors, and providing rapid assessments to keep projects on track.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on knowledge of site development and building construction, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead relationship management with EPC firms and construction partners
Manage contract administration and change order processes, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Track deliverables, and negotiate claims or disputes with stakeholders to protect project interests and maintain strong working relationships.
Serve as point of contact for site development activities on Last Energy's reactor pilot project
Provide quick assessments and estimations for construction and site development needs
Identify, qualify, and call out vendors to support project requirements
Coordinate with internal engineering and project management teams to align site development with overall project objectives
Lead comprehensive project planning and control efforts, including development and oversight of budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in construction services, site development, or EPC project management
Strong understanding of building construction and site development processes
Strong attention to detail
Proven ability to manage EPC firm relationships and vendor networks
Skilled in providing fast, reliable cost and scope estimations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in dynamic project environments
Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
