Construction Services Manager
The Construction Services Manager serves as the liaison between clients, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the construction phase of projects. This individual acts as an on-site representative of the firm, protecting the owner’s interests by monitoring project progress, quality standards, and schedule adherence. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, clients, and internal project teams.
Your Impact:
- Read and interpret construction documents, specifications, submittals, and project schedules.
- Monitor construction progress to help ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with project objectives.
- Serve as the liaison between clients, contractors, and project stakeholders during construction activities.
- Represent the owner’s interests on-site throughout the duration of projects.
- Observe contractor performance and adherence to project quality standards, contract documents, and schedule requirements.
- Document site observations, project progress, and field conditions through reports and meeting documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate updates, concerns, and resolutions with project teams and clients.
- Coordinate with internal architectural and engineering teams to support timely resolution of field issues.
- Support a positive client experience through responsive communication and professional relationship management.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of construction administration, construction management, or related field experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and project schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license required. Position requires regular travel between jobsites.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project demands, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong written documentation, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment in the field.
