Construction Superintendent - Pipeline (Onshore)
We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent - Pipeline (Onshore), reporting directly to Project Site Manager to join our team based in West Papua, Indonesia.
About the role:
The Superintendent Onshore Pipeline is a crucial figure for coordinating and managing the Onshore Pipelines and Facilities, overseeing the project from inception to completion. They ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The role involves a blend of hands-on management, strategic planning, and effective communication with multiple stakeholders. In addition to technical skills, are required for problem-solving and exhibit strong leadership qualities to motivate and manage their teams effectively.
About you:
Superintendent Onshore Pipeline coordinates and oversees all departments’ site construction activities at the West Papua facilities reporting to the Site Manager. They are responsible for ensuring project completion in accordance with the set quality standards, budget, and timeline. Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Direct and coordinate all phases of Construction, Mechanical Completion including Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
- Responsible for the construction of pipelines, manifolds, pigging facilities and general piping around on all facilities, including GPP, Pipelines, Condensate Area and PCC.
- Arrange and coordinate all hydrotesting, flushing, blowing, drying and reinstatements.
- Managing all punch items/lists, close out of NCRs.
- Planning and organizing all Construction and Mechanical Completion activities from start to finish.
- Coordinating and directing Site Company operatives and Contractors.
- Ensuring that all safety regulations and standards are adhered to on the construction site.
- Resolving any work-related issues or disputes on site.
- Ensuring that all construction materials and equipment are available on site when needed.
- Preparing and submitting progress and tracking reports.
- Ensuring the quality of work or materials is in compliance with the contract specifications.
- Obtaining necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Assessing and managing risks, including health and safety concerns, on the construction site.
- Provides leadership and guidance.
