Construction Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers and workers on site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship quality.
- Assist in manpower planning and deployment of workers.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates and records as required.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and relevant authorities when necessary.
- Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to workers.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification in Building, Construction, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision.
- Familiar with construction processes, site coordination and safety requirements.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidates with experience in plastering, masonry, wet trades and general building works will have an added advantage.
