Construction Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers and workers on site.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship quality.
  • Assist in manpower planning and deployment of workers.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Prepare site reports, progress updates and records as required.
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and relevant authorities when necessary.
  • Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to workers.

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification in Building, Construction, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision.
  • Familiar with construction processes, site coordination and safety requirements.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Candidates with experience in plastering, masonry, wet trades and general building works will have an added advantage.
