Construction Surveillance Technician
Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous surveillance of construction activities within secure environments to ensure compliance with ICD 705 requirements and customer security standards.
- Monitor construction personnel, contractors, tools, equipment, and materials to prevent the introduction of unauthorized items or technical penetrations.
- Inspect construction materials, building systems, and work performed by various trades to identify security vulnerabilities and construction deficiencies.
- Review blueprints, construction drawings, and project documentation to verify compliance with approved security requirements.
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs, inspection reports, incident reports, and discrepancy documentation.
- Immediately identify, document, and report suspicious activity, security violations, unauthorized modifications, and construction anomalies.
- Coordinate with Access Control personnel, Site Security Managers, construction teams, and customer representatives to maintain overall site security.

Additional Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong observation, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Working knowledge of ICD 705 standards and secure construction practices.
- Ability to work independently in active construction environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts to include evenings and weekends.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) experience or formal CST training.
- Experience supporting SCIF, Intelligence Community, DoD, or other secure construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction trades, including electrical, HVAC, telecommunications, and mechanical systems.
