Consultant RMC International Relocation

Purpose : As a RMC, you will be representing Client Global People Ops (HR) team, you are expected to play a consultative role to Client HRBPs and Hiring Managers in the assignment/relocation space and review the client’s international assignment and relocation programs and services to be provided to employees.

Your Role & Accountabilities:

  • Provide support to the respective client Relocation and Global Mobility teams toprovide high quality management and partnership of their respective programs.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of client specific assignment and relocation policies/programs

  • Handle relocation, assignments & tax related questions and escalations from clientemployees, HRBPs, recruiters and other internal stakeholders

Assignment Management

  • Consulting on the appropriate assignment type, program and specific programprovisions to meet the needs of the employees and business while remainingcompliant from a tax and immigration standpoint

  • Coordinating Tax and Immigration assessments

  • Consulting with Hiring Managers/ HRBPs on assignment benefits and processes, aswell as finding ways to maintain costs

  • Prepare cost estimates of the proposed assignment based on the programprovisions

  • Initiate relevant assignment services with other Client appointed vendors (Taxservice provider, immigration vendor, Cartus, etc) and partner with the vendors toensure a seamless mobility experience

  • Maintaining and updating Client assignment database

  • Assessing business trips requests

  • Assessing and processing short term assignment requests

Permanent Relocation Management

  • Being the first point of contact for all relocation-related queries and escalationsthat are raised via Client internal ticket system and resolving in a timely manner

  • Auditing and ensuring accuracy of relocation package types for eligible candidates

  • Preparing exception requests to be reviewed by the client contacts

  • Updating Client database to facilitate timely payments of relocation bonuses torelocating employees

  • Auditing and submitting monthly Benefits-In-Kind report before payroll cut-off onto ensure relocating employees receive the correct tax-gross ups

  • Taking care of other ad-hoc requests/projects/reports by the client contacts

Who You Are:

  • Ability to understand client specific assignment and relocation policies/programs

  • Knowledge of Cartus products and services highly desirable

  • Understanding of world affairs, geography and economic issues

  • Knowledge of foreign assignment matters (relocation, tax, immigration, compensation and benefits)

Experience You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Min. 3-5 years int'l compensation/expat. assignment administration

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

  • Demonstrated influencing skills and ability to manage in complex matrixed environment.

  • Personal/professional expatriate experience desirable.
