This is a senior consulting leadership role focused on shaping complex client engagements and driving high-impact transformation initiatives across strategy, technology, and digital domains. You will operate at executive level with clients, helping them define problems, challenge assumptions, and translate ambiguity into structured, actionable outcomes. Beyond delivery leadership, you will play a key role in shaping consulting approaches, supporting presales activity, and strengthening market presence. The role blends thought leadership, commercial influence, and hands-on engagement leadership in a fast-evolving consulting environment. You will also contribute to building consulting capability across teams through coaching and example-setting. This position is ideal for an experienced consulting leader who thrives in complex, client-facing environments and enjoys elevating both outcomes and people around them.
Accountabilities
- Lead and shape complex consulting engagements across strategy, transformation, and technology, ensuring strong client outcomes and measurable value delivery.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to frame problems, challenge assumptions, and define clear pathways before solutions are formalized.
- Support presales and business development activities, including value framing, proposal development, solution shaping, and client presentations.
- Partner with sales, delivery, and technical teams to develop compelling client propositions and win strategies.
- Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous client challenges by applying strong consulting methods and frameworks in real time.
- Contribute to the growth of the consulting practice through opportunity shaping, relationship development, and market engagement.
- Coach and develop consulting capability across teams through active mentoring, modeling best practices, and on-the-job guidance.
- Support the development of reusable consulting offerings and methodologies aligned with market needs, including digital and AI-driven transformation opportunities.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the consulting practice.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting or advisory roles, ideally within the Australian market.
- Strong background in leading complex transformation or strategy engagements at scale.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate confidently in executive-level discussions.
- Demonstrated experience in presales, solution shaping, and originating consulting opportunities, not only delivering defined scopes.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, shape, and convert growth opportunities.
- Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous business problems and translate them into actionable outcomes.
- Experience working across strategy, technology, and transformation domains.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to uplift teams through example and direct support.
