Consumer Operations Data Analyst Intern
You will build and maintain Python scripts and automation pipelines to reduce manual work across customer support, fraud, and trust and safety operations. You will monitor automations, run ad-hoc analyses, build dashboards, set up alerting, translate data into clear recommendations, and document solutions for handover.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python scripts to automate manual tasks
- Design and deploy workflow automation pipelines ensuring scalability and reliability
- Monitor deployed automations and resolve failures proactively
- Conduct ad-hoc data analyses on operational metrics including anomaly detection and resolution time trends
- Build and maintain dashboards providing real-time visibility into key performance indicators
- Set up alerting systems to surface operational issues
- Translate complex data outputs into concise actionable recommendations for non-technical colleagues
- Scope and prioritize data projects with the Trust & Safety Manager based on operational impact
- Document automation workflows and analytical methodologies
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering, computer science, data, or statistics program and seeking a final-year internship
- Proficient in SQL with ability to write complex queries against large operational datasets
- Proficient in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
- Able to take projects end-to-end from scoping to building monitoring and documentation
- Strong analytical mindset with focus on root cause analysis
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
- Experience with API integrations or workflow automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier) is a plus
- Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or the Web3 ecosystem is a plus
