As the Content Specialist, you will have a strong background in content planning, writing, social media and digital storytelling. You are a proactive communicator, organized planner and strong writer who can turn ideas, campaign priorities and technical information into clear, engaging content across multiple channels. This role will play a key part in supporting social media and website content, with a focus on creating content that connects with the right audiences. You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified based on having 3-5 years of experience in doing the following things:

  • Planning and implementing owned content, including blogs, long-form articles, sponsored content and social media.
  • Develop monthly social media content calendars that align with client goals, brand voice, campaign priorities and seasonal opportunities.
  • Plan, write, schedule and publish social media content across key platforms.
  • Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, audience engagement and relevant conversation opportunities.
  • Translate complex or technical information into content that is easy to understand, accurate and relevant to the intended audience.
  • Identify social media trends, platform updates, content formats, and timely opportunities that could support client storytelling.
  • Apply SEO best practices to website articles, blog content, headlines, metadata and digital copy where appropriate.
  • Maintain brand consistency across audience touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative and account teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and unified execution.
  • Build relationships with internal teams and external partners, supporting smooth workflows and strong alignment.
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and community loyalty across key social platforms.
  • Use analytics tools to assess performance, identify optimization opportunities and adjust strategies to improve results.
  • Analyze campaign performance across owned media channels, delivering insights that refine ongoing and future strategies.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across disciplines, ensuring stakeholders understand performance, opportunities and recommendations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, social media, communications, journalism, copywriting, or a related role.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences, platforms and content objectives.
  • Experience developing social media content calendars and managing content scheduling.
  • Comfortable writing for multiple formats, including social media, websites, articles, sponsored content and more.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, content workflows and stakeholders.
  • Ability to take complex, technical, or industry-specific information and turn it into clear, useful and engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, content management systems and best practices.
  • Proactive in identifying content opportunities, improving processes and bringing forward ideas that support stronger storytelling and execution.
  • SEO experience, including keyword research and on-page optimization, is considered an asset.
  • Agency and/or agriculture experience is considered a strong asset.
