Job Summary

Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, payment recording, reconciliation, and customer query resolution to support accurate financial operations in a hardware trading company.

Responsibilities

  • Issue accurate customer invoices promptly based on confirmed sales and delivery records to ensure timely billing
  • Record incoming payments and match them to outstanding invoices within the accounting system to maintain accurate financial data
  • Follow up on overdue payments and resolve basic customer queries via email or phone to improve cash flow and customer satisfaction
  • Perform monthly customer account reconciliations and prepare simple ageing reports to monitor receivables status
  • Maintain organized filing of all accounts receivable documents to support audit readiness and record keeping
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support team operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma qualification or above as stated in the requirement section
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable to perform core job functions effectively
