Contract Administrator
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration and management of project contracts. Your responsibilities include upholding contractual terms, managing correspondence, and acting as a liaison between project stakeholders. This role is vital for maintaining compliance and efficient operations during the project's execution phase.
- Administer and monitor EPC/EPCIC contracts, ensuring contractor compliance with obligations and milestones.
- Maintain comprehensive contract files, registers, and correspondence records.
- Evaluate and manage contractor change requests, preparing change order documentation.
- Identify and mitigate potential claims, supporting negotiation and resolution processes.
- Draft and issue contractual letters and notices, ensuring timely responses.
- Prepare periodic contract administration reports, providing key insights and updates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and compliance with corporate policies.
- Provide contractual guidance and support to project team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in contract negotiations and amendments, representing the company's interests.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance contract management strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- 7-12 years of experience in contract administration within the oil & gas industry, with a focus on EPC/EPCIC projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and oil & gas contracting models.
- Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools, with excellent drafting skills.
- Minimum 5 years of offshore experience, with recent involvement in offshore projects.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, with a proven ability to write clear specifications and reports.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple contracts, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to new contract management practices.
- Experience in change management and claims/dispute resolution is highly advantageous.
- Eligibility to work in Italy is a mandatory requirement for this role.
