Contract Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

You will execute day-to-day external and internal communications across media and company channels, owning press releases, company announcements, and industry commentary. You will manage media engagement and handle inbound press requests, draft and refine written content, support communications for product launches and partnerships, monitor coverage and narratives, and escalate reputational or market-sensitive issues. You will collaborate with Product, Legal, and Marketing to ensure messaging is accurate and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Execute external communications including press releases, company announcements, and industry commentary
• Manage media engagement including proactive outreach and handle inbound requests from crypto, tech, and financial press
• Draft and refine written content for external communications and internal messaging
• Support communications for product launches, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
• Monitor media coverage and market narratives and identify opportunities
• Escalate reputational or market-sensitive issues when appropriate
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Marketing to align messaging

Requirements

• Experience in communications, PR, or a related field, ideally within crypto, web3, or fintech
• Strong understanding of crypto markets, narratives, and media landscape
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Experience supporting press relations and external communications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates sound judgment in market-sensitive situations
