Contract Manager

Precast & Infrastructure Projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
  • Prepare cost estimates and support tender submissions.
  • Administer contracts throughout project execution.
  • Manage variation orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT), contractual claims, and final accounts.
  • Prepare and monitor progress claims and subcontractor payment certifications.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and commercial performance.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Identify contractual and commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and proper documentation management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Law, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant contract management experience within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration claims management, VO, EOT, cost control, and final accounts.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following sectors will be highly preferred:

  • Precast concrete manufacturing
  • MRT / Rail projects
  • LTA infrastructure projects
  • Tunnel segment projects
  • Segmental Box Girder (SBG) projects
  • Bridge and viaduct construction
  • Major civil engineering works

Candidate Preference

  • Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) are strongly preferred.
  • Candidates must possess hands-on experience managing VO, EOT, claims, and final accounts independently.
  • Foreign candidates will only be considered if they possess strong and directly relevant experience in precast, MRT, LTA, tunnel, bridge, viaduct, or major infrastructure projects.
