Serve as a subject matter expert on the composition, measurement, and allocation of pension and insurance costs (CAS 412, 413, and 416).

Perform in-depth, complex compliance reviews of contractor pension plans, specifically pension allocations to government contracts.

Analyze General Dollar Magnitude (GDM) proposals and detailed Cost Impacts, and conduct materiality assessments to determine the financial effect of accounting practice changes and Noncompliance’s.

Perform technical assessments, peer reviews and/or reports to aid Contracting Officers in adjudicating cost accounting standards (CAS) Noncompliance’s.

Evaluate adequacy and compliance of contractor proposed accounting changes and support the development of official government positions and negotiation strategies.

Develops schedules, distributing tasks among team members and/or sub-team leads and makes adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities and time constraints.

Ensures that each team member has an integral role in developing the final team product, builds and mentors teams and interfaces with contractor leadership teams.

Coordinates, reviews and integrates team member analyses of cost elements and risk areas into a comprehensive report.

Briefs complex reports to senior military leaders and Government executives.
