Contract Recruiter

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Contract Recruiter based in the United States.

This role is a high-impact, full-cycle recruiting contract position responsible for driving hiring execution across a diverse and fast-moving portfolio of roles spanning technical, product, commercial, operations, and data disciplines. You will act as the primary talent acquisition partner, owning the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle in a complex, post-merger environment where clarity, structure, and momentum are critical. Working closely with senior leadership and hiring managers, you will help define hiring needs, align stakeholders, and ensure disciplined execution throughout each search. The role requires strong stakeholder management, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence decisions in time-sensitive situations. You will play a key role in improving hiring velocity, elevating candidate experience, and strengthening overall recruiting operations. This is an autonomous position with support for coordination tasks, allowing you to focus on strategic recruiting execution and delivery excellence.

Accountabilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across a broad range of roles including technical, commercial, product, data science, and operations positions, ensuring consistent delivery from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with executive leaders and hiring managers to define role requirements, align on candidate profiles, and maintain structured, timely feedback loops throughout the process.
  • Drive hiring process discipline by coaching interview panels on structured interviewing techniques, best practices, and effective use of ATS systems such as Greenhouse.
  • Collaborate with offshore recruiting teams and internal TA partners to ensure smooth coordination, particularly across distributed hiring workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting data, ensuring strong ATS hygiene and reliable reporting for pipeline visibility and decision-making.
  • Identify and resolve hiring bottlenecks, proactively pushing stalled requisitions forward while protecting a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring teams, balancing urgency with process rigor and stakeholder alignment.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across diverse and complex roles, with a strong track record of filling niche and hard-to-hire positions.
    • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment independently while influencing stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust while holding partners accountable.
    • Excellent organizational and operational skills with experience improving recruiting workflows in fast-paced, high-urgency environments.
    • Experience using ATS platforms, ideally Greenhouse, with strong attention to data accuracy and pipeline management.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams, including offshore recruiting partners.
    • Experience in health tech, life sciences, data science, or startup environments is a strong plus.
