Responsibilities/Qualifications
Drees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the nation, is seeking enthusiastic candidates for a Contract to Start Coordinator opportunity in our San Antonio, TX division. As a Contract to Start Coordinator you will following the processing of all jobs from contract approval to the start of the job to ensure processes meet or exceed goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Architecture, Estimating, Production, and Sales to ensure efficiency and prompt contract to start cycle time.
- Maintain starts reports and facilitate starts for Division and ensure starts are released in a timely fashion.
- Facilitate weekly starts meetings for the Division.
- Review and analyze customer job status while providing feedback to Sales Managers, Construction and Operations Managers and Division President.
- Oversee the process of obtaining permits and municipality plan approvals, HOA approvals, and ARB approvals.
- Maintain master plan approvals from Architectural Review Boards per community.
- Architectural liaison for Division To Be Built and Market Home starts. Responsible for sending up contracts and market panels to Architecture.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 2-3 years' experience in an administrative position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Awareness of National, State, and Local building code requirements is a plus!
- Detail-minded with excellent organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to take multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work with various disciplines of people
- Ability to take the initiative and exercise independent judgment
- Possess a team player mentality
- Experience with a residential homebuilder is a plus!
- High school education required; College degree preferred --may consider degree with other related residential homebuilding experience.

The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
