Contracts/ Assistant Contracts Manager (Construction)
Job Description:
- Lead and manage the tendering process for construction projects, from pre-tender to post-tender stages.
- Review and analyze contract terms, conditions, and tender documents to identify risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with project, design, and procurement teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Negotiate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to secure favorable contract terms.
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company policies.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on tendering strategies and cost control.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in contract management/tendering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., PSSCOC, FIDIC), and tendering processes.
- Proven track record in leading successful tender bids.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Analytical with strong attention to detail.
